Camping. That's what I've been doing for the last two weeks. The week of the 16th, we went on a mini-vacation with my parents, sister and her family. Here's our fun in picutres.
Hangin' out at the dock
Fishin' at night
Fishin' in the daytime
Swimmin' in the cool pool
J doing the lumberjack log (He was excellent at it.)
Going down the slides Roastin' marshmellows
Tubing
H's first time to ski (she was a pro) Coolin' off in the swimmin' hole
After returning from this trip, I had a few days to wash clothes and repack for church camp. The week of the 23rd, the four oldest and I, along with 65 other people (6 other adults, 4 other teens, and 55 other kids 2nd thru 5th grade), for a week of children's church camp about 4 hours away.
A good friend and I found out we were the camp cooks for the crew the week before camp. We hurried to make a menu and grocery list. I was a little concerned because neither of us had ever fed masses like that. However, it really wasn't that bad because we worked so well together. We actually had a great time and the week went by too quickly. Since returning home, it has been full speed ahead preparing for our auction a week from Saturday. Nothing like packing every possession you own into lots and having them fill your home, all while trying to sell it. Oh, by the way, our air conditioning went out today. It was 103 degrees according to a local bank temperature.

The camping trip looks like a lot of fun.
The church trip! That's a lot of kids and you had to cook! Glad you survived.
I hope you can get the air fixed quickly. It's not even that hot here yet.
